About Me

Here I am, Marigona (“Gona”), an ISSA-certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist. I am based in Zürich, Switzerland. I am a full-time: mother of two, a wifey, a worker, and I live in a household where the chores aren’t being done by themselves (something we all wish for). 
 
Exercise and health has always been a part of me, and as I lost myself under all of the hats that us mothers and busy women tend to carry, it was time to get back to that passion and one hour/day in which I could focus on myself and boost the emotion of feeling stronger and better again. Even on the tough days, training has always helped me to get back on a positive path and it has also helped me to believe in myself in new ways. Besides enjoying working on myself, for myself, physical activities have countless benefits:
  • it extends your lifespan with several years
  • it reduces stress-level and anxiety (even depression)
  • it strengthens your heart and muscles
  • it boosts your happy hormones
  • it improves your brain function and memory
If there is one thing I have learnt, it is that working out doesn’t just change your physical look, but it strengthens your inner well-being, too, and once you realize this, it can’t be taken away from you.
